Design Process

 

At our initial on-site consultation, the concept development begins by defining your project objectives.  Measurements and photo's will be taken as well as inventory of furntiure and accessories.  We will  focus on potential color schemes, materials and fabrics that may be right for the project.

 

This process will lead to the develpment of a fee structure and Letter of Agreement for services prior to the commencement

of the formal design process.  

 

Based upon our initial meeting(s), a scope of the project and anticipated services will be developed for your review through a floor plan, concept board and color template, a timeline and cost.  Design concepts will be decided.  Selection of colors, furniture, fixtures, and finishes will be finalized.

 

Upon the clients signed approval for suggested work orders and purchases we move from the design to implementation phase. Any necessary drawings and specifications will have been completed in this phase and will be communicated to any outside parties involved in the project.

 

Fee Structure

 

An initial consult starts at $75.00 per hour. Services are performed generally on an hourly rate.  Cost plus for products and services the designer is asked to purchase. Flat rates are available depending on the scope of the project and anticipated services.  All new services will start with a retainer, which will be applied to design services and purchases.
